I felt confident that my child would recover from the anesthesia okay under his care. He answered all my questions and expressed genuine concern.
This is our third day in Pediatric Cardiac ICU and since the beginning of his shift, on Wednesday, he took such great care of our little one. Kameron periodically checked our child and changed our child without hesitation. I felt confident that my child would recover from the anesthesia okay under his care. He answered all my questions and expressed genuine concern. Having been in ICU longer than anticipated, a sense of powerlessness starts to set in as we wait for recovery and a diagnosis. I know that all I could do at any point was pump and feed my baby. He was amazing in that respect, he consistently gave me everything I needed from water to bottles for storage and hot packs so I could successfully provide milk. He saw I was low on storage bottles and when I woke up this morning, he refilled the storage box with new bottles and nipples.

Regarding my stay here, as you can imagine, sleeping in a chair does not facilitate a restful slumber. Our nurse brought blankets and pillows and did as much as he could so I could stay at my little one’s side during his recovery. As for the night shift, he took great care of my little one all night long. In the middle of the night by the time I noticed my child needed something he was already in the room either changing, consoling, or patiently giving food. Every aspect of my stay here I think just got 100% better because he allowed me to rest last night. I am so grateful for him and all his help, from the minor things to the large, I feel he has done everything within his power to make sure my child has everything needed to promote healing and well-being.
