Besides the usual characteristics of professionalism, knowledge, courtesy, demeanor, helpfulness, etc., Ms. Denardo went above and beyond taking that rare and invaluable trait of compassion to new heights. She made a very uneasy situation bearable by taking the time to explain in detail the importance of the procedure I was about to be given. Ms. Denardo knew about the many surgeries I had had in the past and unequivocally realized that I had completely reached my saturation point. She “entered my spirit” beautifully and then proceeded to navigate me to a place of calm and reserve concerning another challenging procedure I was about to undertake.

Adding to her abundance of compassion, she took the time after her long shift had ended to find me in recovery. She not only wanted to say goodbye, but to check on my condition, and make certain I understood all the post-operative details the recovery room medical staff had explained to me. Ms. Kristin Denardo turned a trying situation for me into a delightful experience. She is not only an exceptional human being but an outstanding professional who deserves as many accolades and rewards that are possible to bestow on a person of her caliber and uniqueness.
