And from the moment V was born until today, Mily is our angel, she was the person who helped us the most during that time.
V was diagnosed with Myelomeningocele Spina bifida. We arrived at the Austral University Hospital for V’s myelomeningocele correction. The following day, the surgery was performed and it was a complete success. After 20 days, we were moved to the pre-discharge room, where she taught me, as a mother, how to heal his wound. It was something completely new and I was very afraid that it would hurt him, or that I would hurt him. But Mily was always attentive, and willing to teach me, she did not even hesitate to explain the same thing 10 times so that I could learn and continue doing it with my own hands. V was in the hospital for exactly 29 days. And from the moment V was born until today, Mily is our angel, she was the person who helped us the most during that time. That is why we believe she deserves this award; for her humanity, for her professionalism, for the great nurse she is and we know she will continue to be. We are from Marcos Juarez (Cordoba) and even from miles away she continues helping us by seeing pictures of V's wound and telling us the steps to follow, she does not hesitate to clear out our doubts or to tell us if something is right or wrong. Thank you!
