My six-year-old son was Anaphylactic after eating a treat topped with peanuts. We gave him Benadryl and, too scared to use the EpiPen, we ran to Saint Peters University Hospital. We met Erin when we arrived at the Pediatric ER. She was the angel my son needed to save his life that night, and we will never forget her. She firmly assisted our severely endangered child, the Doctors, and our family. She knew just what to do in a timely manner, being the pillar we all needed at that moment, yet with so much love and compassion.

As a highlight, she was able to manage my little one, in the condition he was in, hungry and tired, all poked with IVs and other stuff, to drink a nasty, gooey, black charcoal solution, almost an entire cup, making him smile in the process (he would never do it for me, his own mom), which, at the end of his stay at the hospital was what helped him recover faster, and go back home sooner. Erin, we will never forget the role you played in our son’s life. We surely see you as a powerful superhero, disguised as a Nurse. You are one of the only nurses I’ve met that can be super professional and super caring at the same time. A rare jam at Saint Peters! We ask our Lord to Bless you in Jesus’s Name!
