My son and his wife recently had a scheduled appointment to hopefully turn a breech baby girl. They were scheduled for an induction two days later. Finding no heartbeat during the doctor's initial assessment, we lost our baby, less than 48 hours before her scheduled arrival. Broken hearts and empty arms are what we were left with. Our labor and delivery room was filled with tears, sadness, and quiet. Rachael was our nurse. Rachael's name means "little lamb"- so sweet and tender. Rachael was born for this job. Her quiet demeanor, her guidance, her patience, the physical care she provided, and her attentiveness to our family on the worst day of our lives-- for all of it, we are grateful. It was a hard and unbearable day for my son and daughter-in-law, but God placed himself in that room through Rachael, her co-worker, and the doctor. Thank you for taking care of my children as they lost their own. Rachael is a DAISY Nurse for her kindness and extraordinary care. Kindness is everything, so thank you, Rachael.
