This is to tell you about my special angel, her name is Sara. I knew from the moment she walked into my room she was special. She is warm and engaging and will put you at ease the minute you meet her. Being in the hospital is never fun, but Sara made it bearable; no request was too difficult for her to achieve. I really wanted a salad and she made it happen. Sara went to the cafeteria and called me while she made a salad for me with exactly what I wanted in it. When I was in pain she brought medication as soon as I requested it, because she wanted me to experience as little discomfort as possible. She would make my special coffee and deliver it with her infectious smile. Sara always made sure the bedding was clean and tidy. The medications that I was given were always explained as to why I needed them. Sara truly needs to have this recognition, she is what every nurse should be. You all should be proud to hear her represent your hospital so honorably. Sara will remain in my heart and I will always be grateful for her kindness.
