Our angel nurse, Cassandra, advocated on my and my father's behalf and I cannot express the enormous gratitude I feel in words. She is an outstanding nurse and I am so thankful for her updates when I called in the middle of the night about my father's well-being and for speaking with the nurse manager on my behalf if I could come early and be with my dad, and advocate against his release, not even 48 hours post difficult surgery. Cassandra, thank you for bringing your "human" to work and not treating my dad like just a number.
