Jeannine role-modeled resilience for the staff throughout the pandemic. She viewed the resignations as a chance to build a better team.
There is a term in the world of business leadership known as “Impact Players”. Every organization or team has impact players. These are the individuals you can count on in critical situations to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. When I came across the concept of “Impact Players” I immediately thought of Jeannine Fillhouer. Jeannine was faced with the challenge of leading a team of frontline workers through the unprecedented times of a global pandemic. The leadership skills necessary for this challenge go well beyond the scope of clinical knowledge. It takes a special leader, a true impact player, to continue to lead amid staff burnout, the great resignation, the large influx of travel nurses, the oversight of new grads, and all the curveballs COVID-19 threw at our frontline workers. Jeannine role-modeled resilience for the staff throughout the pandemic. She viewed the resignations as a chance to build a better team. She embraced the travel nurses as an integral part of this pandemic and found a way to leverage their knowledge to provide Simply Better patient care. Through Jeannine’s leadership and guidance, the new grads developed into strong clinical nurses that are engaged in the vision of MemorialCare. Jeannine has built an exceptional team that gives extraordinary care, every time.
