Jan is an exceptional manager. She is a DAISY Nurse Leader because she goes above and beyond all the time. She is there to support us and encourage us to become better nurses. In my career, she motivates me to strive for my goals, whether it be APPlS or the leadership track. She is always willing to help and is a great communicator with patients and staff, always with a smile. Jan does whatever it takes to improve the Infusion Center and listens to staff input. She exemplifies a great role model with her can-do attitude, never saying no. She herself has furthered her career by gaining a master's degree and leading many different departments, wearing many hats. She wants what is best for MemorialCare and is enthusiastic about sharing information from the administration, being transparent, and helping her nurses succeed. Jan's many years of experience in different areas have made her a resource for many and have allowed her to be an extremely accomplished nurse and leader.
