Cristal gave her a full bath and she even sang a song while doing it which made my mom happy.
My mom was admitted to Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital ICU for 5 days and was transferred to LTCU/SW and stayed for 4 more days until she got discharged home in a stable and improved condition. During her stay in the ward, Cristal was the one who received my mom and she continued to care for her for 3 consecutive days. My mom at that time was bedbound and always rang the call bell as she required assistance in feeding, bathing, and positioning, as I was not able to stay full time. Despite having other patients in the ward, Cristal always attended the call bells and assisted my mom. She even encouraged my mom to eat as she refused to eat anything. Cristal also made sure that I am updated on the plan of care and progress of my mom and she kept me informed beforehand and make sure I will be there during doctors' rounds. I even asked a lot of questions and requested some things to be done, and she took her time to assist me. My mom told me that on her 2nd day in the ward, Cristal gave her a full bath and she even sang a song while doing it which made my mom happy. It seems to me that she really loves her job as a nurse. I haven't seen any nurse like her. Her willingness to help patients, regardless of nationality, in all situations, makes her extra special. She always has a holistic perspective when caring for patients, which is fundamental for nursing outcomes. She maintains close relationships with her patients and their families, and often demonstrates her commitment, by taking her time with her patients to ensure their wellbeing. She has made a habit of going above and beyond the call of duty and giving more of herself than asked.
