My mother was seen in the ER and was later transferred to ICU where Lovellah was her nurse. Lovellah went above and beyond her line of duty, in my opinion, to make my entire family comfortable and aware of what was going on. She made sure my mother and the family were comfortable. Once the decision was made to admit my mother to comfort care, Lovellah went with her down to the next floor and worked her shift with my mother, and explained to the oncoming shift what was going on. She also was able to make sure Mom was able to keep her ICU bed as she was in excruciating pain and it kept her comfortable. Lovellah checked on me every day, even when she wasn't working. She reminded me of what patient care was like before "paperwork" took over the medical industry. I hereby nominate Lovellah for this most deserving award. Side Note: Lovellah even made pancet for me one day when not working knowing how much I loved it.
