Hannah is an exemplary example of what a nurse should be. While she cared for our son, she explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand. She put us, as parents, at ease because she was so attentive to our newborn. She also helped us find our way around Birmingham, since we are from out of town. She suggested places to eat and things of that nature. When our son got acid reflux and was fussy and couldn't relax, she was there to help him and provided suggestions for things that might help calm him. She was also very supportive and uplifting when we felt discouraged by our son's progress. He wasn't eating as well as we hoped and she would always remind us that every baby is different. He is going at his own pace. This helped us tremendously. Overall, she was a fantastic nurse and nurses like her should be recognized for their outstanding work ethic and compassionate care.
