Antonia is such a kind and caring individual, she has a great deal of positive energy at work and instantly puts those around her at ease. I believe Antonia is extremely capable and has a wealth of experience in her role however unfortunately, she very often lacks confidence in herself. I hope Antonia can reflect on her nomination and the contributions she made during her role and realise what an asset she is to the department. Antonia was recently witnessed teaching a student nurse how to understand laparoscopic surgery. Not only did she take time out of her busy and demanding role, but she also created an interactive model to really embed the learning. This shows her genuine dedication to sharing her knowledge and teaching the next generation of nurses, irrespective of the pressures that she is under.

As Antonia has a natural talent for teaching and integrating students and new starters, she was recently tasked with rewriting the student information pack. Again, Antonia went above and beyond and rewrote the book in a more user-friendly and engaging manner. She included vital information, tasks, and games that all promote different styles of learning. We are very lucky to have Antonia as part of our team on Gateway G and we are very grateful for her experience, contributions, and attitude toward the role.
