I am a first time mom and I have a great support system but it was my first night alone in the hospital. Grace was my nurse. The care Grace gave was exceptional. She saw me struggling and went the extra mile to take her time and help me through it. She showed me how to self-express. She saw me struggling and stressing out over my baby's eating and sat patiently with me providing the help and information I needed until I was comfortable on my own. She was consistent and confident. She was the right kind of pushy, making sure I understood what was best for my baby girl and made sure I wasn't cutting corners. She made a point to know who my guests were and was militant about checking in on me about everything from my pain to my baby's feeding and diapers. It's very important that she gets this acknowledgment. She is an amazing nurse and I am so grateful to have had her. Her delicate yet assertive bedside manner is not to be overlooked. Grace made my stay, a stay in which I found confidence, comfort, and compassion. She deserves every award you guys give. I really really appreciated all her help so much.
