Courtney made me feel like I mattered. Like I was a real human being like she was concerned that I still live. She had no idea that before I arrived here I was asking and making my peace with God and Jesus to take me away! Courtney's presence was light to my darkness in my darkest hour, which made me slip away from all the pain I had been in for the last 4 days and I could not talk! She listened to me, cared for me, checked on me, rested with me, encouraged me, and let me vent to her without any judgments or responses. Sometimes that’s all we need is to know what we are dealing with and how we are feeling, what’s troubling us, and in spite of all that we still matter. Courtney made me feel like I mattered.
