I instantly felt safer in his care and was able to relax.
I was nervous and a bit depressed coming in for my procedure. Benjo made me feel very welcome and instantly told a relatable story to my interests after asking me fun questions about myself. He made my experience much more comfortable and much less clinical. He seems to have a good way of sensing his patient's emotions and relieving their anxieties overall, it felt like I had a friend for my short duration and I am very appreciative of that!

Benjo has been patient and compassionate. He answered all of our questions and helped us immensely to navigate the discharge process. The way he dressed my wounds was next class. This had been a long, stressful, painful process but Benjo relaxed me and ensure I wasn't in pain when attending to my wounds.

I was in for a very daunting procedure but Benjo put me at ease and his attention to detail is phenomenal. He is very kind and showed me great care during my stay. He is a credit to himself and the Lister Hospital. He checked in with me often and helped me when I felt ill. Every step that was taken was explained to me and I think he is just one of those genuinely good guys!

I checked into the Lister hospital for five days, the second half of a major operation on my ankle. I was very apprehensive, as to what to expect. I met my nurse Benjo early on. From the outset, he was happy, enthusiastic, and confident. Always there as a constant in an ever-developing experience. He took time to talk to me about other things than just my care whilst diligently going about his tasks. Having been in the system for three weeks this was a great mental relief to me - things are still normal in the outside world. He had a very confident approach to my care, the sort that only comes from experience. He made me comfortable and ensured I was clean, nothing was too much trouble. He took time to explain all aspects of my care and when I had questions he could not answer he took the time to get the answers for me and reported back. He had a very open and friendly manner which engenders teamwork which really helped me get through this difficult time. A friend on the ward goes a long way to making you feel better and recover. I was so impressed by his confident approach to all aspects of my care, especially his ability at replacing dressings. He was methodical at all times. I instantly felt safer in his care and was able to relax. Thank you for making my care as good as it could have been. An excellent nurse who is an asset to your organisation.
