Cassidy is able to “read” her patients and find unique ways to make them laugh and feel comfortable. She is very warm and welcoming. She has such a pleasant bedside manner! Patients in the OR are vulnerable in almost every sense. Cassidy works an off shift and sees a lot of patients that didn’t plan on having surgery that day. There is a lot of fear and uncertainty around that but I have seen Cassidy calm a crying patient time and time again. She has a unique talent for easement. She is kind, compassionate, and has a depth of empathy for her patients and coworkers that is unparalleled. Cassidy is a wonderful asset to MGMC.

Cassidy is a wonderful nurse. I have seen her make extremely anxious patients laugh. She always finds a way to connect with her patients. I’ve put her name in a few times with specific examples of respect, excellence, and safety. Today I’d like to recognize her teamwork. Cassidy went above and beyond to help the doctor in the OR. She was a great team player.
