My father was moved to ICU from the ED after being brought in by rescue for something we had no idea would put us in ICU. Let me say, THANK GOD for true angels on earth like Meggie. She was incredible. She cared for my father how I’d imagine she’d care for her own father. Even though he was on a vent and sedated, she talked to him, assured him, she sang to him, it was such a beautiful experience. Meggie was so accommodating to my mom and myself also. She explained everything that was being done without being asked. Some people like Meggie are born to be in this industry and time and time again, she without knowing proved it runs through her veins and is a passion. Also, this was all while she was being an incredible mentor/teacher to her future colleague
