When I saw my brother (34 yrs) in the middle of the night looking lifeless, Rodolfo was working on him so hard. What stood out to me was the tremendous amount of respect and dignity he gave my brother. Like he was his own family. The care and respect were so heartfully appreciated. His willingness to be in the room during all the extenuating treatments to be by his side and treat him like family I will never forget. My last memory of my brother will be with Rodolfo by his side treating him the way we all would want our loved ones treated.

Yes it is his job to be the nurse, but it is not his job to care for him like it was his own brother. That is special. That is someone that respects his profession.

The time you gave our family in this unexpected tragedy was a gift. Your expertise gave us hope and, in my view, gave my brother the ability to fight harder and longer than anybody out there. His willingness to last as long as he did is one of the many traits that he has. Please share his strength and Rodolfo's with other patients and their families during their treatment times as well. Our family can not encapsulate everything you have done, thank you.
