Matt has checked on me to this day even if he isn’t on my care team.
Since being in the hospital, Matthew has been one of the nurses on my care team. He has been so awesome, kind, and attentive. His first time being one of my day nurses I remember him doing his best to make sure I was doing ok and making sure he managed my pain. Around this time on the board, the nurses had to get my pain under control. Matt came into my room making sure whatever medicine I had to take he said the name and what it was for. Asking me if I have any questions about anything. I also remember when I was going downstairs for a cat scan which was a day I didn’t have him as my nurse, I heard Matt mildly yell my name as I rolled by, "Hey Ms. W how are you?” I felt so loved and remembered.

There was also another time that I didn’t get him as my nurse but that morning he knocked on my door to say “hi” and ask how I was doing. To tell me he didn’t have me as a patient today. But I had another awesome nurse who would take great care of me. I felt so cared about and so happy that he took the time out to tell me these things and check on me. Matt has checked on me to this day even if he isn’t on my care team. Thank you Matt for being an awesome nurse.

Thank you for your kindness and dedication to me while being my nurse. You are definitely one of many nurses I’m looking forward to seeing upon my coming back to start chemo and to take care of during my treatment. You’re so awesome. I recently sent a “thank you” note but I’m not sure it went through so I decided to send another one because you are so Awesome!
