She comes into work with a smile on her face and a cheerful attitude that makes everyone chuckle. She is energizing.
Being a nurse has many challenges and is both physically and emotionally taxing. It requires flexibility and resilience. Every ounce of interest and passion a nurse has needs to be mustered up in order to stay motivated to grow, evolve, and improve while remaining happy, helpful, and humble. Ronni is a shining example of this criterion. She comes into work with a smile on her face and a cheerful attitude that makes everyone chuckle. She is energizing.

Ronni is helpful to her coworkers and her patient’s family members. She offers to assist with turns, vital checks, lab draws, research, calls to physicians…you name it, and if Ronni can help she will. Ronni is interested in learning new skills and disease/recovery processes and always actively pursues growth so that she can better serve her patients and satisfy her hunger for knowledge.

Ronni helped to explore the possibility of DIC in my patient recently. There were concerning striations with scattered, worsening bruising combined with suspicious lab results. She examined the patient with me and brainstormed with me the entire 12-hour shift on top of managing her own patient set. She suggested investigating DIC and it was an educated recommendation. Ronni is a wonderful mother, a skilled nurse, and a great human, and friend.
