Ashley is consistently recognized by colleagues and patients for the exceptional care she provides. What is most special about Ashley is that she spends time getting to know her patients and makes them feel as if they are the only person she is caring for. When communicating with her patients she is comforting and pays special attention to ensure she eases her patient’s fears and anxieties about their plan of care. She exudes positive energy on the unit with her smile and cheerfulness. Ashley also serves as a resource to our newer nurses by mentoring and assisting them. She contributes positively to the team dynamic by jumping in and helping whenever there is a need. Ashley embodies the CARES standards and is a role model for what nursing at St Tammany Health System is about.
