Levenee is a night shift nurse on BMTU. She does so much for our unit that she deserves to be recognized. Levenee is an active member of our unit's clinical teams training project and has been developing a useful tool for charge nurse handoff. She volunteered to be cross-trained to be able to cover gaps in staffing in the radiation oncology clinic. If Levenee ever gets downtime she is using it to organize and help make improvements for the unit. She updates and organizes a BMTU resource binder for our unit. As a day shift nurse, I can say that we all hope to get handed off patients from Levenee because we know everything that can be done for the patient will be done. She is a kind and compassionate nurse and patients have frequently told me how much they appreciate her care.
