Every single ICU nurse we have had has been quite wonderful. They all tend to my mother’s needs as quickly and gently as possible. However, there is one particular nurse who stands out to me. That is Miss Elizabeth. May I say having her these past few days have been both pleasant and fulfilling. She always came right in and immediately asked how my mother was feeling and what she can do to help before anything else. She sincerely accommodated her in the best way that she could, and always came up with these great ways to make her feel comfortable, help her improve her mobility, and even put a smile on her face.

I will be caring for my mother full-time after she leaves here. I am very very glad I came across Miss Elizabeth because she not only cared very well for my mom, but she also taught me so many things and ways to care for my mother. Because of her, I will leave this place with my mom feeling like I can certainly care for her, and that there is always a way to solve an issue using your imagination. I sure wish we could have her every chance we could get. She seems to also work very well under stress. I happened to see a bit of an issue going on with Security, Miss Elizabeth, our neighbor, and the family. However, she still came into our room with a loving and attentive attitude every time my mom needed her, despite the commotion she went through. I greatly appreciate and applaud Miss Elizabeth. Sadly, this is her last night with us, but I am very appreciative of her knowledge and presence.
