My mother was seen here at MUSC. She passed away in December. I'll never forget those nurses who made sure she was comfortable, and rushed in & out of her room when she needed assistance. Kelley stood out to me the most because she was as sweet as can be. She did help the 4th floor side with my mother & I'll never forget that. I am 25 weeks pregnant and was recently in the hospital & guess who my nurse was?! Yup, Nurse Kelley, and as always she was nice and made sure I was comfortable the whole time I was in Labor & Delivery. She actually took the time to speak with me about my mother because she remembered her. I knew as soon as my visit was over and I was discharged I would have to recognize Kelley. You don't run across compassionate nurses like Kelley too often, trust me I know, I work here! We need more nurses like Kelley taking care of patients here at our hospital.
