This nurse took care of a family who had experienced recent infant loss and was scared when they found themselves admitted with their infant son. She received a handwritten note from the family who said: "Our nurse was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond in her commitment to helping our son recover and most importantly, feel loved. And for us as his parents, to know that we are all safe and in good hands. This nurse frequently checked in on our son, making sure he was dry, clean, and restful. She took time to speak to us as parents and 'friends' in a way that allowed us to relax (as much as we could) in such stressful conditions. Her gentle voice and touch truly made him feel safe - I deeply believe this. A HUGE part of any recovery is having people around you that truly care and that is 100% this nurse.
