Throughout, she was the epitome of nursing professionalism, attending to all of the patient's needs in a meticulous, but unfailingly compassionate manner.
I’m writing to say thank you for the outstanding care my family member received and to let you know that I was extremely impressed by the high-reliability teamwork and compassion I witnessed from every member of your staff. Recognizing that my family member was post-partum, a labor and delivery nurse came down to the ED and assisted Jennifer, the ED nurse, in doing the initial assessment. Jennifer and the other nurse were incredibly supportive and compassionate, reassuring my family member throughout her stay in the ED. As it became clear that non-surgical interventions were not having the desired effect, the nurse notified both providers, to ensure they were aware of her current condition.
Throughout, the nurses were the epitome of nursing professionalism, attending to all of the patient’s needs in a meticulous, but unfailingly compassionate manner. Throughout my career, I have been a champion of high-reliability practices as a means of improving the quality and safety of patient care. It was abundantly evident that these practices are second nature to your staff and that they provided outstanding care to my family member as a result. The patient came home today, is well on her way to a full recovery and we look forward to celebrating our blessings tomorrow on Thanksgiving Day. That we can is a testament to the professionalism and compassion of your team.
