Garrett is my husband’s night nurse. My husband tells me he is excellent. He helps keep him comfortable at night. This makes me happy because my husband has a hard time sleeping. Before I leave for the day, Garrett puts my husband’s drinks in a (solo) cup to make it easier for him to drink. I really appreciate that. My husband is happy with how he takes care of him in the evening. Thank you, Garrett, for all you did to make my husband’s stay here at Valley comfortable!

Garrett was the most compassionate, thorough, and comforting nurse I’ve ever had. He was always asking about my comfort and needs, making sure I was content in every way. I could relate to him because he actively had meaningful conversations with me and his level of personability was extremely comforting. With Garrett, he was responsive and kind, and when I asked for heat packs, not only would he bring them, but put them on my leg for me, which I found challenging to do myself. Overall, I nominate Garrett because he was someone who boosted my morale and when I would find out he was going to be my nurse for the night, I would find myself looking forward to his arrival. He is definitely a gifted nurse with a natural ability to put people in stressful times of their lives, at complete ease. Thank you, Garrett.
