Shamim made sure I was always happy and she expressed her loving heart to keep me calm and expressed to me all the care that I deserve.
Shamim was very attentive and encouraged me to keep moving even though it was painful.

All my nurses were great but Shamin was the best. I will list all her good qualities. 1. She explained things she was going to do as she did them. 2. She would take the time to answer your questions 3. She would listen to your concerns. 4. She would act FAST and not make you wait – if she couldn’t do something she would explain why not. 5. Worked with others really well and delegated to others in a nice manner. 6. Very firm BUT very patient – Did things in a nice way. 7 Very neat and professional.

Shamim was absolutely wonderful in caring for my husband and preparing me to care for him. She has a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. VERY KNOWLEDGABLE!

From my arrival into my room, my experience has been nothing but the best, from the way I felt cared for to the instant responses and solutions that were acted upon by nurses/CNAs. I went from feeling sick, weak, no energy at all to my bright wonderful youthful self and this Extraordinary Nurse cared and went through every step along the way with me to make my release day come closer and closer and finally true. This is a reminder real people are still out there who love, care, and want to see you shine no matter how long they’ve known you. I want to say thaannnnk yoouuu!! I would love to stay but let me say I have to get outta here today lol.

Shamim has a beautiful way of expressing herself. She made me feel loved and happy. I had a fall in my bathroom. I broke my ribs on my left side. My blood sugar was also super high. I suffer from PTSD, COPD, Asthma, and Diabetes. Shamim made sure I was always happy and she expressed her loving heart to keep me calm and expressed to me all the care that I deserve. I am a nurse’s worst nightmare. My PTSD makes me very angry but Shamim’s attitude and love kept me calm and collected. I thank God that I was blessed to have her as my nurse. She fills me with laughter and I have a great feeling when she comes to my room. Thank you John Muir Hospital for having Shamim.
Note: This is Shamim's 2nd DAISY Award!
