Anthony went above and beyond for my mom when she needed hip replacement surgery. His face was always such a welcome sight at the office. My mom was extremely scared and worried the day of surgery. Anthony stopped by the hospital on the day of the surgery to see my mom prior to surgery. She was in the pre-op area and Anthony walked in and gave her a hug. She started crying because seeing him made her feel safe she told me. Anthony also came into the patient family waiting room and offered to go get me a cup of coffee or something to eat. This world needs more nurses like Anthony. My mom made a complete recovery after the surgery and I honestly believe Anthony’s kindness and the fact that he made her feel important was crucial for a speedy recovery. I hope Anthony is recognized for his care and concern of patients. He is a true DAISY Nurse!
