After being fortunate to have worked with Maryanne for 25 years, there are so many stories and she is the queen of resourcefulness, troubleshooting, and "putting out fires" even before they've begun. I once saw a new patient, a 19-year-old man with schizoaffective disorder who was undermedicated, homeless, and having a difficult time navigating our system. I was also having a hard time contacting his current therapist from an outside agency, dealing with ROIs and faxes not going through, etc. It was a mess and the patient was almost despondent. Maryanne was able to take care of all of this, going well beyond the call of duty in order to help our patient obtain his needed and well-deserved care. Maryanne is also one of the most generous, kindest, and artistic people I've had the pleasure of knowing. She's a true gem.
