She has a heart of gold and possesses management skills, unlike any other manager I have worked for. Truly a representation of integrity, wisdom, creativity, and dedication to the organization, staff, patients, and community.
Adrienne inspires everyone with her work ethic and dedication to this team and to the patients we serve. She is always available to step in and help out and she listens to any worries, cares, or concerns we may have. Adrienne goes over and beyond to make our workplace a happy healthy environment.
***
Adrienne has no problem getting dirty. If the unit is short she will take an assignment, scrub as a tech, etc. She is fair and phenomenal!
***
Adrienne often comes in on her days off, and stays long hours to help the nurses. She is willing to scrub in for C-sections and basically help anywhere and everywhere including our NICU! She is an extraordinary person, nurse, and leader. Despite the personal trials she is experiencing she continues to show care and compassion to all of her staff. I have been a nurse for many years and have truly never seen a nurse manager step up the way Adrienne does.
Adrienne has assisted me in a time of great trial by allowing me the time off that I needed to care for my spouse. She is truly the definition of compassion and I am honored to work with her.
***
Adrienne creates an atmosphere where everyone is respected and loved. It's unusual to be in a large work environment of basically women and have the teamwork we have with Adrienne leading; she sets this tone. She herself is seen many times in scrubs working side by side with her staff.
Whether you have an issue at work or in your private life Adrienne is very approachable. I feel empowered and respected by my manager which leads me to take personal responsibility for the lactation position; she trusts me and inspires me to grow and think outside the box, taking on new programs and involvement within our hospital and our community. She shows up for this unit in a BIG WAY. The staff, our patients, and their families are continually blessed by her style of leadership.

Adrienne is a role model to me and to our entire FBP unit. Adrienne comes from a background of working in the Navy, as an OB tech, L&D nurse, FBP ANM, and now the manager of our department. Her work ethic is like no one I have ever worked with. In addition to her management duties, she will throw on scrubs with seconds notice to assist in the OR, help in triage, or transition a Newborn. She doesn't hesitate when staffing is of concern, to come in and help the unit on the weekends or even for an overnight shift. She thrives on learning. I have worked alongside her in many of her roles. I have watched her work full time, be the PTA president of her children's school, become an instructor for AWHONN fetal heart monitoring, and most recently obtained her MSN in leadership. She has a heart of gold and possesses management skills, unlike any other manager I have worked for. She not only attends management meetings, and completes tasks assigned to her, but she participates and excels in the goals set for her. Adrienne is competitive by nature but does so in a way that even when she is striving to do and be the best she does so by continuing to represent St. Vincent's Mission and Core Values. Adrienne volunteers, servicing the poor, she has compassion, and integrity, is knowledgeable in her wisdom, creative, and is dedicated! She is an inspiration to all of us on our unit and all of Ascension that knows her. She demonstrates what all of us strive to be as we give great compassionate care at the bedside.

Adrienne demonstrates the core values of Ascension St. Vincent's. She leads by example, being the first to give to those most vulnerable in our care as well as those in the community. She gets in the "trenches" with her staff, not on the sidelines. When we have an emergent situation in our department or are overwhelmed with an influx of patients, she puts her hair up and puts her scrubs on, and performs safely, eloquently, skillfully, and cheerfully. Many times, she has come in the middle of the night on weekends to help on the unit. Truly a representation of integrity, wisdom, creativity, and dedication to the organization, staff, patients, and community. Adrienne was instrumental in saving the life of a patient whom we had the privilege to care for, through the patient's COVID experience, delivery of her precious baby, and her extensive recovery. Adrienne organized and orchestrated appropriate resources in order to provide excellent care for our precious Mom and baby and because of her diligent, dedicated, compassionate, and timely care, this mom and baby had a positive outcome. There is no better manager and Adrienne unequivocally represents a true interpretation of what the DAISY Award signifies and represents.
***
She is willing to help whether it is in the middle of the night or on weekends, she will fill in as a Tech, Labor Nurse, Triage nurse, Charge, or Clerk wherever she is needed, she is compassionate with all of her patients, understanding, greets everyone on the unit, and all of our patients express how much they adore her.

Adrienne is a superior leader. She is not above any job on the floor and is always willing to step into whatever role is needed at any given time. I’ve never come across a leader that will get on the floor and work side by side with the staff. We love her! She is a rare gem!
***
There's no other manager as good as ours. She can be anything from tech, RN, secretary, etc. name it she can do it. Whenever we need her she's always here for us. She's one of the reasons why I'm enjoying my job.
