What makes Stephanie so special is that she is an advocate for the nurses on the unit as much as she is a patient advocate.
Dedicating over 30 years to the unit, Stephanie Jullien exudes a sense of calm and has shown what it means to be a compassionate and skillful nurse during a time where it is of utmost importance in healthcare. Working night shift, she becomes an advocate for her patients.
One night, caring for an unstable patient, I left that shift hoping that I could one day become a fraction of the nurse I stood in awe of that night. What makes Stephanie so special is that she is an advocate for the nurses on the unit as much as she is a patient advocate. Stefanie is extremely involved with our new grad program as a leader. She meets with new hires on a regular basis offering clinical support and education as well as emotional support and career guidance. This emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, along with Stephanie’s many years as a leader in our unit, has helped this new grad program succeed. We are so lucky to have someone like her and we can always count on her guidance and advice. Stephanie is supportive, caring, helpful, and all-around amazing! She is a role model and mentor to both new and experienced nurses and is greatly deserving of this recognition for the exceptional teaching and care that she provides. We are lucky to have someone as dedicated as Stephanie in this very important role.
