I thank God for Sarah and all the amazing things she does every day for everyone and all the lives she touches with her big heart and humble spirit.
My Dad came into the ER at Methodist Germantown by ambulance for shortness of breath. Once he was ready...he was assigned to 3 West where Sarah Taylor is an RN and the charge nurse. Dad was there for a couple of days improving and then took a turn for the worst. When Dad became distressed, Sarah was quick to notice and got Dad all the help he needed to quickly get him intubated and on the ventilator in ICU. Dad recovered about 6 days later and is now home.
Sarah provided our family with a Christmas miracle by helping my dad survive. The details and careful attention Sarah makes sure to address every day on the floor of 3 West for every patient, their family, and her staff are so greatly appreciated. Sarah is a leader everyone follows without hesitation because she is super intelligent, has excellent clinical skills and judgment and she leads by helping others. I know because I was fortunate to work under her direction for about 3 years. I told my brother who was hesitant to leave Dad to also care for my mom, his wife, and 5 children to not worry...Dad was in good hands with the staff of 3 West.
I thank God for Sarah and all the amazing things she does every day for everyone and all the lives she touches with her big heart and humble spirit. Most people probably walk by her each day taking for granted what a difference she makes. I don't think people could actually notice on their own because she constantly puts everyone else first asking how their day is going and how can she help. Sarah gracefully carries herself all the while unselfishly offering everyone a helping hand, a smile, or words of encouragement to get them through the day. She is a beautiful gift to all. I am so grateful to God for Sarah and all the staff that saved my Dad's life!!!
