Roxanne is one of the few senior nurses remaining on the nightshift amongst new hires and new graduates. She is the one to answer all the questions, assist in all patient care to assure it is done safely and compassionately and does it with a smile and gentle touch. She steps in every rapid and code to support and lend a hand to the team. As someone she oriented when I first began, she aides in teaching new skills and educating, while leading by example on how to treat patients and families with respect and keep their dignity in their toughest of times. I cannot think of a better example of someone who is a role model to all and who displays excellence and resilience in the face of all the challenges our unit has faced with Covid and the changing times! Roxanne makes everyone feel safe and deserves immense recognition!
