Nurse Ellen, who lets me call her "Emma," was the best, most caring, attentive, doting, patient caregiver ever! After waking up in 12 out of 10 pain from the anesthesia wearing off from a full hysterectomy and other organ removal, all I could do was cry. Even blinking hurt. I have a high threshold for pain, and this was excruciating- waiting hours for the pain meds to kick in and pain management to take effect.

Nurse Ellen was my nurse for the night and it was like an angel was guarding and caring for me. Every need was not only addressed, but anticipated. Pain went from a 12 to (and maintained) 3 and I was even able to get some much needed sleep. Nurse Ellen went above and beyond and gave me comfort and solace in a most harrowing time. Words aren't enough to describe the absolute gem that Nurse Ellen is!
