Harsha received seven nominations from her peers which speaks to her kindness, approachability, and genuineness. This nomination is a culmination of the sincere and genuine words shared by these peers from a variety of disciplines.

There are not enough words in the entire world to explain or tell how wonderful Harsha is. She is one-in-a-million. She is caring and humble. It is evident in how she cares for her patients and peers that she loves her job. She radiates joy. She always has a smile on her face. She is indeed a truly rare gem.

One of her peers writes, "I have had the pleasure of working with Harsha for the year and it is impossible to share and recognize the quality, compassion, respect, kindness, affection and dedication she shows and gives to her patients. Most importantly, I would like to focus on how amazing of a co-worker she is. She always starts her day with a good morning smile and is always willing to help everyone; the nursing assistants, the other nurses, and the providers. She makes the day go by smoothly even on days that we are facing challenges. She has a way of always cheering us up.

"Harsha deserves this recognition because nurses like her are hard to find and it is a blessing for the unit to have her on our team. She provides exceptional and compassionate care to her patients. A previous patient of hers passed away on our unit. Although she was not the assigned nurse for the patient that day, she went out of her way to console the family. The patient’s passing had a visible impact on her. Her compassion was palpable and she did anything she could to comfort this grieving family. Watching her console this family reminded me of why we do this work. She is the epitome of what a nurse is and should be." 

Harsha is indeed truly one-of-a-kind, caring and understanding nurse that never ceases to amaze us with her ability to go above and beyond. We have loved working with her and those words are coming from the heart. She will always make an assignment a team effort to ensure that her patient's needs are met.
