She is all in for the patients under her care and acted in mom's best interest every step of the way.
Early 2022 started our tumultuous roller coaster of fear, confusion, exhaustion, and uncertainty with our 84-year-old mom. We truly believe this would’ve ended completely differently has it not been for Mom’s angel, Ashley Cantrell on 4 South.
Ashley is the true embodiment of a nurse who fulfills the medical pledge of do no harm each day. She is all in for the patients under her care and acted in mom's best interest every step of the way. She work diligently to calm moms fears and explained each step of her medical care, more than once if needed. Not only was she a constant for mom but was attentive and supportive of our entire family.
She was relentless in keeping any testing and/or procedures on track for mom regardless of the obstacles thrown her way. Ashley practiced her profession faithfully, did all in her power to maintain and elevate the standard of her profession, and obviously devoted herself to the welfare of those committed to her care. We realize the measurement of moral and ethical standard does not come naturally to some but Ashley, has set the bar at its highest point. She would be a great mentor to new nurses, helping to shape their responsibility to always act in the best interest of their patients, and setting a solid foundation for the gold star standard of patient care which one day, may include their very own loved ones.
