My family and I were so impressed with her attitude, compassion, and patience.
I was admitted to the hospital on a Tuesday in December after staying in the ED for a day.  Everyone who cared for me was excellent, but I want to specifically compliment Alejandra "Alex" for her excellent care and incredible patience during my stay.

I was diagnosed with a mild stroke, so my memory has some gaps, but my family and I were so impressed with her attitude, compassion, and patience.  I had numerous tests and was very stressed, but Alex would take the time to explain what was happening, and what was going to happen, and answered all my questions. She reassured me when I needed it for an MRI.  I am mildly claustrophobic, and she explained what the equipment would be like, how close it would be to my face, and how long I needed to remain still.  She even called the department for a few of my questions.  She also explained the pros and cons of the medicine that was available to calm me.

At one time, a fast-talking Neurologist came by and woke me up very early, and gave me an overview of my results.  I did not retain much of that information, and because it was so early in the morning, my family was not present.  Alex called the doctor and asked him to contact my wife and then followed up when she came back on shift to ask if he had contacted us and answered our questions.  That is exemplary patient care.

I am from California and was visiting the area, but I would not hesitate to recommend the hospital to family and friends here in Dallas.  Alex was a very bright spot in my otherwise traumatic ordeal.  In her, your organization has an amazing representative worthy of recognition.
