I would like to nominate Glory. I have been receiving treatment in the Urology department which has been amazing. The reason for my nominating Glory is recently I believed I had another urine infection. After visiting my GP to ask to test the urine I could not get an appointment even though I only wanted the urine checked before I started antibiotics. I have had serious lung problems because I had an adverse reaction to NITROFURANTOIN so I try to keep my intake of antibiotics to a minimum.

The day I walked into Urology I was feeling so despondent with people as I felt no one would help me. Glory was standing there with a smile only she could radiate, calmed me down, and immediately helped me. I have spent a lot of time in hospitals as my dear mother was blind and in my opinion, it is the first important thing to be friendly and courteous but how wonderful to show such compassion and kindness. Believe me, not everyone has it. I have gone on to have further treatment arranged by Glory and I have seen her with other patients and her continued care. Glory is an absolute ambassador for this amazing and remarkable hospital which is the Luton and Dunstable. We, as patients who live in the area, are so privileged to have such an asset. I myself am so grateful and I speak for so many.
