About Alessandra:

Going above and beyond for a patient. Responded to help/assist in the parking lot of Mercy. Alessandra was leaving work when a co-worker was nonresponsive. She acted to the best of her ability without any hesitation. She is an amazing nurse who I have had the honor of teaching and working with. I couldn't be prouder of this amazing nurse!

An LPN was found in the parking lot with no pulse, Alessandra was leaving work when the LPN was found. She and 2 other employees started CPR, put the LPN in a car and continued CPR in the back of the car, drove to the ED entrance and continued CPR on the LPN. She was clocked out, and still showed excellence in nursing, she attempted life saving measures and went above and beyond. We are proud to work alongside her she is a great nurse and wonderful human!
