Congratulations to Krista Short on being named our Geisinger Community Medical Center December 2022 DAISY Award Honoree! Krista was nominated by a patient’s family who expressed their gratitude for Krista’s commitment and dedication to her patients:

Ms. Short graduated from Career Technical Center in Lackawanna County with her LPN. She started her career at Geisinger in May 2022. Krista stated, “I chose Geisinger because every inpatient and outpatient experience has been wonderful, and everyone seems passionate about their jobs. The best thing about working in the ICU is teamwork. Everyone is ready to help each other, it's Great!”
