During the birth of our first child, Jessica was the most caring and encouraging nurse we had the pleasure of interacting with. She was empathetic, encouraging, and calm during the entire process. It felt like I had a good friend taking care of me. The delivery of my baby was seamless because of her. Then post birth, I experienced bleeding complications. I never once questioned if I was in the best hands because Jessica was there.

At a time where I could have felt anxious and vulnerable, she made me feel safe and that everything was going to be okay, and it was! By the end of Jessica’s shift, I was on the mend with a wonderful baby girl. I was sad we had to part ways. I wish she could have stayed with me the entire time! I count my lucky stars that I was blessed enough to have Jessica by our side for the birth of our daughter. I hope I’m lucky enough to get to see her again for care in the future.
