How can someone explain an angel on earth? Well let me tell you, this nurse is an angel. Morgan Myers is a kind, caring, compassionate nurse. She is the one who always lends a helping hand. You never have to ask for help, she knows she is needed and responds. This past week was just one example of how wonderful Morgan is. I had a hospice patient who was in need of attention. Morgan stepped in and medicated them; she took time away and helped me. She said you need help, and I am there for you. Later that day she was in the room with me when my patient passed. She was that angel, that calm and soothing soul who was supportive of the family and me. I am writing this and remembering all the time Morgan has been that kindhearted, empathetic nurse who always knows what to say and is there in a time of need. A DAISY Award would recognize her as an amazing nurse, she embodies the values of a nurse and makes a difference in so many lives.
