When I came into the ER I was hurting, I was in so much pain and my spirit was down. When I went to the back the nurse introduced herself to me and she was so polite and kind. I had to use the bathroom several times and she was so patient with me. I asked her a couple of questions about my health, and she answered them all. I loved when she asked me if I was doing okay if I was comfortable, or if I needed anything, the way she treated me was so professional. I even asked if she had just gotten out of nursing school, and she laughed and told me no she has been working as a nurse for years. This shocked me and I told her this is the first time in a long time that a nurse did all her procedures step by step and that is why I asked if she just graduated. We need more nurses like Emily. She was genuinely nice to me and always made sure I was comfortable. I can honestly say that this is my first time getting an IV put in without it hurting me because Emily talked me through every step and explained what she was doing, she was very gentle with me. We need more nurses like Emily. Please tell her to keep doing good for us. I was very impressed, and I thank her for helping me.
