Laura always goes above and beyond for her patients and co-workers.  I have worked beside her as a nurse for several years and I am always impressed with how hard she works and cares for her patients. She makes sure her patients are well taken care of.  She is a great advocate, has the biggest heart, and cares deeply for her patients. She is the first one to help another co-worker if they need help. She is a great example of compassion and kindness.  Walker Baptist is lucky to have her!

From the very moment, I started working on our unit and Laura found out that I am a nursing student, she set out to teach me how to be the best nurse I could be. While some try to make it hard for new nurses, she nurtured me with open arms. She has always been so patient and willing to explain.  She’s always made me feel like my opinion is valued.  Laura also does not hesitate to help with any task.  She is always observant and compassionate with her patients. She is the true definition of a good nurse and I am forever grateful that I have the opportunity to work with her and learn from her!
