Jordan is currently working evenings taking care of my father as he passes away on the hospice and palliative care unit at the VA in Minneapolis. He has cared for my dad a few nights in a row this week and I've witnessed his incredibly sweet and positive attitude that really brings peace to both my sister and me as his children but also to my dad in this difficult and uncomfortable time. I feel he really goes the extra mile to help his patient, my father, feel comfortable, cared for, and understood, even though it is difficult for him to communicate. I want Jordan to know that he has made a difference in the life of not only my father, but he has made it easier for my sister and me to be there to grieve and mourn this incredible loss as it is unfolding before us.
