Ircia is an amazing nurse… and individual, who sincerely cares for people. The way she cared for me, my husband, and our son honestly felt like we were her family. We received so much attention. She is very knowledgeable and was able to answer questions and explain things to us in a way that was understandable. She also took the time to show me how to do things. Ircia noticed our newborn baby boy’s skin was more yellow than before after the on-call pediatrician saw my son.

In the morning the pediatrician said he looked fine and was cleared to go home after his circumcision. However, later in the day when Ircia was checking on us, she expressed a concern that our baby was developing jaundice. A test was performed, that confirmed our son’s bilirubin levels were high, and he was indeed jaundiced. Therefore, we had to cancel our intended plans for his circumcision and remain in the hospital for an extra day. I believe if not for Ircia’s loving care and great nursing assessment skills that identified our son’s medical situation, the outcome would have been very different. Thank you, Ircia, for everything and for the helpful tips you gave us that will make me a better mother. I was grateful for your reassurance. You told me I was doing a great job. You were so amazing, unbelievably sweet, and kind. Our entire family cannot thank you enough.
