Nurse Rekha made a huge difference in how my husband will actually understand what his discharge instructions say and what he must do. If anyone has a husband that leaves all the reading and following up to the wife, you will understand. Rekha's patient attention to detail in going over each instruction and important detail with J means he understands what is to be done. Otherwise, if he relied on me reading and telling him, he would treat everything as a suggestion and consider it if he thinks it necessary. Rekha did her job thoroughly, and in so doing, she allowed me to be a helpmate instead of an 'enforcer'. We are all happier for her professional support.
