Katie is always willing to take the most difficult patient cases and has worked for weeks now with a gentleman that requires treatment 3 afternoons a week. The visits are lengthy, and she worked it out to see him as the last patient of the day to keep the clinic flow going. This patient is someone who could be rushed in/out due to difficult circumstances, but she has gone above and beyond to make certain he is well cared for. Katie is always willing to lend a helping hand to her co-workers, whether grabbing supplies, answering questions, or mentoring students. She also advocates for her patients regarding situations away from our facility. She has had many family members contact her when a patient she cared for long ago has passed away - because she has kept in touch to see how things are going and give moral support. Katie is dedicated to giving the best patient care possible in any situation!
